Ankur Gupta, M.D., M.S.
Dr. Ankur Gupta is a board-certified eye surgeon who completed retina fellowship at Stanford University, where he continues to collaborate on research and has published over 75 projects. He also serves on the faculty at the University of Southern California in LA, where he helps to educate future generations.
He completed his M.D. at UT Southwestern on a full scholarship in his hometown of Dallas, TX. After this, he completed residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago and residency in Ophthalmology (eye surgery) at Geisinger/Kaiser Permanente.
Dr. Gupta specializes in the treatment of macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Gupta offers individualized clinical trial treatment options, including the newest AMD therapies like gene therapy before they are widely available. He is committed to providing compassionate care and welcomes patients who are more comfortable speaking Spanish. Se habla español.
